Dilute bleach solution is the best way to clean all hard surfaces in your environment. Contact time is very important - wipe down all surfaces with 1:32 solution and leave wet so it air dries slowly. Ringworm spores can remain on just about anything for years so cleaning your home is as important as treating yourself or an animal.

Ringworm is a self limiting condition (eventually) and more unsightly than harmful but still worth getting rid of. The best defence is keeping your animals in tip top condition as it appears to affect those with a weak immune system.
