Re: Podge Belly

yeah neeps is the same, eats, poos, acts normal (for her) till you touch her belly then shes all sulky. If her belly is really bad she won't settle, but most of the time she just stinks my clothes up while sleeping on me.

You could ask for a erm.. laxative or erm.. tummy unblocker.. neeps had one of those.. dear god! we got rid of the poo tray after that! they have to go outside now i'm not having a repeat of that in the house! but did the job lol the change of food certainly helped but i think she might just be one of those unlucky cats whose not so well developed in the tummy dept.. or the brain dept.. but that's another story lol.

it might take a while to find food that timmy agrees with but it's worth trying a few different ones. try to feed him and tigsy less, more often then if timmys feeling ravenous he can only eat so much and cause less problems. we found that after a while with neeps that once we started filling their bowls again after a few months of measured feeding that she didn't stuff her face, she realised taht more food would come if the bowl was empty and she could come back as and when rather than eat it all at once.

bubs, won't eat out of a bowl that shows the bottom of it lol.. so we top them up quite regularly, which is quite helpful cos she'll come to let us know the bowls are 'low' lol.
