I'm new today!! I'm really interested in this thread. I have had moggies before (had them from kittens until they sadly passed away a few years ago aged 17 and 18) - now have a Maine Coone Cross (male 13yrs), a Pixie Bob kitten (male 5 months) and 2 x Wegies (both male 13 weeks). It's a while since I had kittens and I've been wondering about correct nutrition and which of the commercial foods is best etc. I know the Pixie in particular would LOVE some raw meat as he becomes a wild beast if there is raw chicken etc around. The wegies have only been with us since Saturday and the Pixie has been with us for a month. They all (apart from adult) have Applaws kitten - dry & wet. Pixie has had diarrhea ever since we got him. He is perfectly well apart from this, nicely hydrated, energetic, good appetite, been wormed, been checked by vet for parasites etc. No explanation really. I'm wondering if feeding him some raw might help? He doesn't appear to have lost weight - although I will have him checked again this week.

I was looking at food4cats and thought I might order the sample pack. Good place to start?
