Try him on a good qualiy dry diet,science plan,royal canin,nutro,eukonuba,these are all made with high grade ingredients and are very palatable,i feed my cats and dogs on a dry diet as i think its better for them,higher in nutritional value,better for teeth and usually better for what comes out the other end!! canned(wet) food tends to be a very high percent water.good luck.
