All I can say is that I had a phobia of dogs. When my parents realised they decided to get a puppy. I didn't get a choice of breed that was my parents decision.

They chose a Dalmation, as a child 101 Dalmations was one of my favourite films.

What I am trying to say is the Dalmation didn't frighten me. She arrived as a puppy and I never looked back.

It is important that you are comfortable with the choice of dog whether it be large, medium or small.

I was always unsure of cats, I have found they are more unpredictable than dogs. I also have a cat.
