before you get a dog be sure you both want it - if you get a dog and your scared of it then it will pick up on that.

You need to do lots of research - why dont you go down to your nearest puppy class for the evening and talk to the owners and people there - then that way you can get a feel for different dogs.

This certainly isnt something to rush in to. take your time and be happy about the decision you make.
