Re: To vaccinate or not to vaccinate?

Wow what a refreshing thread to read!! Its nice to know other people are aware of the over vaccinating 'thing' our vets seem to have!! I vaccinate all my animals until they are 4 years old and then according to my vet they have enough cover for the rest of their lives. Sadly my horse does still have to be done every year so he can take part in competitions but my dogs and cats have always been done this way and none of them have had any complications. Interestingly enough my old dog who I naively vaccinated yearly through misguided belief in my then vet, now has a blood disorder thought to be bought on by over vaccinating..you can imagine how distraught I was to learn I was the cause of this disease.
