Re: James Wellbeloved Kitten Food

A week isnt really very long for changing a food over, especially at the same time as a new home, worming and vaccinations. I would go back to the original food for a week, let him settle in and see if his bowels improve.

If so then you can start the transition to your chosen food but alot slower. It should take 2-3 weeks to get him onto the new food, but if he is sensitive it could take longer.

I dont rate dry food very much, but JWB is amongst the better of the foods. Some cats are more sensitive to change, and combined with a new home, no litter mates, new smells, vaccinations and worming its unsuprising he has an upset tummy.
