I will of course discuss with my vet. I have only recently rehomed this dog. I understand that she was "got at" by another dog when she was only about 12 to 18 months old. She managed to whelp naturally half of her litter, but struggled with the rest, hence the c section. I don't know why she wasn't spayed at the same time. She hasn't had any further matings and she is about three years older now. Just a question posed to ask you guys what experience you have of this. I will as I said discuss with my vet of course.
