I do not advocate that people buy supermarket value food, cheap awful rubbish. People shouldn't consider owning a pet if they are gonna feed it cheap 'white' label food.

It was you that kept going on about how much cheaper that it was gonna be!!! And plus the fact you didn't want to 'have to suppliement' (extra cost)????? I was just pointing out the pitfalls of raw feeding and educating about the importance of taurine to avoid feline heart failure, which is very common in raw fed cats!!!! Forgive me for caring....
Not wanting to supplement has nothing to do with cost, if I am going to convert my cats back to their natural diet I would rather do it without adding supplements or anything else which is unnatural. And thats it!
I don't see wild cats popping to the chemist for taurine top ups so I thought it must be possible to feed raw without supplements. I am asking questions and investigating responses and taking advice on board from people who know about this subject.

As I have stated cost is a factor in this but it is not the main reason I am considering it as I said if it were purely a money factor they would be getting the cheapest of the cheap commercial crap, which they are not!

While I thank you for your concern regarding the feeding of my cats I can assure you I am an intelligent and responsible enough pet owner to fully research anything so drastic before implementing it, hence starting this thread in the first place!!!!!!!
If you are unable to post without accusing me of counting costs before caring for my cats then please don't bother posting at all.
