Re: Raw diet from the butcher

I think you should look up Feline future Instincts TC. & Feline Instincts my natural cat, even if you don't decide to purchase from them. They both have a good information site they explaine the reasons for raw & what vitamins/taurine/oils/minerals a cat needs & the amount's.
Instinct's TC was the original founder so I tend to stick with Natascha as she is alway's striving for the best for our feline buddies.
The pre mix is added to the meat along with water cod liver oil & in Baloo's case, cooked squash, unsalted butter, lecithin. So it sounds a lil bit of a hassle to make up his food, once it is prepared it is put into freezer pot's, frozen then thawed in the fridge for use.
I do a month or two's worth, & now it is just second nature to me. Yes at first I thought what the heck is this all about, do I realy need the hassle, but when he started to put his weight back on, his eyes are like huge clear saucer buttons, his fur is just to die for, soft sleek ( mind not when he has rolled in my veg plot). I know it's worth it.
So what I'm trying to say is don't just guess, there are recipe's out there you can use without the pre mixes, but I found trying to get all the ingredients in this country is hard.
By all means give chicken wings, mine just love them.
