i would say your problem is the size of that viv, you wont be able to get a proper heat gradient from hot to cold with something so small im afraid, that size viv would be ok for a baby but would soon outgrow it. you need to upgrade to something along the lines of 4x2x2 even a 3.5x2x2 would be ok. DKDREAM asked a very important question regarding the thermostat(not thermometer) you need one of these to regulate the temps if not your beardie will overheat especially in a viv so small. You will also need a thermometer with a probe so you can measure the temps in the basking spot, ambient temp, and cool end temp these are very important.
