I had a chameleon as my first reptile. Although I did doubt my ability to look after her - their care sounds so difficult! I nearly decided against it, but I am so glad I got her she was amazing! I now have my second cham and she's gorgeous too! As long as you do plenty of research and get the cage and lighting all set up beforehand you will be fine. It does seem daunting at first, but once you are in a routine with them they are really rewarding pets!
