Grow some catmint/catnip for your cats!

It's really easy to grow catmint, outdoors or indoors. Seeds are about £2 for a pack of 250 I grew twelve plants, kept one in a small pot, put four together in a larger pot and gave the rest to other cat owners.

Catmint has interesting effects on about two-thirds of cats (some just don't seem to care). When cats smell catmint they get 'high' and act playful/purry etc but when a cat eats catmint she'll get 'stoned' and soon decide it's time for a nap. Quite often the nap takes place lying on top of the plants

Luckily catmint is a tough old plant and will survive even the most vicious cat-attack. Has no problems surviving British winters outdoors too!

If "a pic is worth a thousand words", here's several thousands words worth of why you really should grow some catmint/catnip for your cats -
