I have been using the yam as pumpkins are hard to come by this time of the year (never use sweet tart pumpkin).
The butternut squash is very expensive but ok if you are using it anyway.
I have had a great Jack the lantern miniture pumpkin harvest & they are all ripening up lovely so his next batch will be all home grown.
