I feed a combo of wet Bozita and Butchers Classic with dry for an emergency (Orijen).

Poos do not smell.

However i think that it depends on the cat and the owner. I remember that my childhood cat was fed exclusively cooked coley (a white fish) which was mixed with breadcrumbs and it lived to ripe old age.

Cat food in tins really was rather unapealing having a terrible smell.
