I had exactly the same behaviour from my 2 boys who have lived together happily for over 5 years!

I moved them into a different room & one turned on the other. The only thing I could think of that caused it was that they could smell other pets in the new room.

The only way I could stop this behaviour was to put them back where they used to be & they have been fine ever since!
