No - we haven't started testing her for allergies yet. The vet has suggested taking her back to a completely hypo-allergenic start - white fish mashed with white rice - and then add foods into her diet a bit at a time once her poo has become solid.

Trouble is when I tried to give her white fish before her bum seemed to get worse. I am going to try again one more time, now that she has been treated for collitis.
When macy was a kitten she was poorly, she had chlamydia!!!
the anti biotics wiped all good gut bacteria out. we put her on steamed fish and boiled rice, when we added live youghurt a week or so later she got the squits as she was lactose intollerant,
We(me & vet) then put her on royal cannin sensible diet. this helped and all was back to normal soon after, good luck
